Austin-based Bazaarvoice, a developer of applications used to add ratings and reviews to ecommerce web sites, said Monday that it has unveiled a new program to help its partners. The firm said its new Bazaarvoice Radius program is designed to accelerate the adoption of its products by brand marketers, direct marketers, agencies, and technology vendors. The program offers a directory of interoperable software and services which work with Bazaarvoice. According to Bazaarvoice, the program includes XML datafeeds, web services APIs, and support from the company. Bazaarvoice provides an outsourced service that enables ecommerce sites to add social features like ratings and reviews to their ecommerce sites; the firm counts Bass Pro Shops, Dell, Macy's Office Depot, and a number of other online retailers as customers.
