Austin-based Infochimps, which operates an online marketplace for data sets, said Tuesday that it has acquired DataMarketplace.com, a Y-Combinator firm offering up structured information to users. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Infochimps is backed by DFJ Mercury, and is headed by Nick Ducoff.
