Kenet Inc., a developer of low-power, analog, mixed-signal products, has opened a new design center in Austin, Texas, the company announced Monday. According to Kenet, the 2,124-square-foot facility will focus on designing application-specific products based on the company's FemtoCharge analog-to-digital converter technology. Kenet added that the center, which is located in Hartland Plaza, will support up to 10 senior engineers and could be expanded to meet additional needs. Kenet is a privately backed firm headquartered in Woburn, Mass, and is venture backed by Venrock Associates, Oak Investment Partners, Kopin Corporation, and CP Group.
