Perot Systems Corp. reported Tuesday that it has hired Eric Wieman as executive vice president of a division of the company's Fairfax, Va.-based Government Services business unit. The Plano-based information technology outsourcing provider said Wieman will oversee its $300 million-per-year Civilian IT division, which caters to non-military federal agencies. Prior to joining Perot Systems, the company noted, Wieman was vice president of science and engineering services at Computer Sciences Corp. In that role, Perot Systems explained, he managed some 1,200 employees, including many science, engineering and IT professionals. Wieman also enjoyed a five-year stint at Raytheon and has worked for many other federal contractors, including Federal Data Corp. and Northrop Grumman.
