Sante Ventures Backs EndoStim

Austin-based venture capital firm Sante Ventures has backed a St. Louis medical device company, EndoStim. According to EndoStim, it raised $6M in a Series B funding which was led by Sante Ventures. Along with the funding, Doug French of Sante Ventures joins EndoStim's board. EndoStim said the funding will go towards clinical trials, as well as CE Mark and FDA approval of the firm's microstimulator technology, used to treat sphincter-related disorders and GERD.
