Austin-based Site Controls, a developer of enterprise, energy management solutions for multi-site, commercial businesses, has been acquired by Siemens. According to Siemens' Building Technologies Division, it has signed an agreement to acquire Site Controls, to broaden its portfolio of building automation and HVAC control solutions. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Siemens said it will continue to maintain Site Controls' 75-person team in Austin, and that Site Controls will become part of its Building Technologies Division.
