Texas high tech companies received $347.4M in venture capital investments in Q2 of this year, according to a report just released by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association. The report, which tracks quarterly venture capital trends nationally, found that Texas had 37 deals and $347.4M in the quarter. The investments came against a backdrop of $7.1B in venture spending nationally for the quarter, which the study found was the highest since Q3 of 2001.
