Austin-based VDIworks, a developer of virtual desktop software, said Tuesday that the firm has named CTO Amir Husain as its President and CEO. According to VDIworks, Husain will now also lead the firm's marketing and sales, in addition to the firm's product development team. Husain is a founder of the firm.
