Atos Origin Bumps Shumsky to Human Resources VP

Global IT consulting firm Atos Origin reported Tuesday that it has promoted Sabrina Shumsky to vice president of human resources for its North American operations, which are headquartered in Houston. Shumsky, Atos said, will report directly to Paul Stewart, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Atos Origin North America. Atos said Shumsky joined the company as compensation and benefits manager in 2004 when Atos acquired SchlumbergerSema. She had held various HR management roles for Schlumberger since 1998, Atos noted, adding that her tenure at Atos also includes stints as HR manager for North American managed operations and as point person for all U.S.-based HR transition activities.
