Indeed Appoints New CEO

Austin-based job search site Indeed said very early Wednesday morning that it has named a new CEO, appointing Chris Hyams as CEO of the company. Hyams has been President of Indeed since October of 2015 and previously had been SVP of Product. Hyams replaces current CEO Hisayuki Idekoba (Deko), who had been CEO since October of 2013. Indeed parent company Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. said it has appointed Deko to its Board of Directors in addition to his current responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer. Deko will remain in Austin.
