PeopleAdmin, Performance Matters In Merger
Austin-based talent management software developer PeopleAdmin, the developer of talent management software for the education market, said last week that it has agreed to acquired Performance Matters, a developer of tools used for professional development, evaluation and student assessment. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The companies said that Performance Matters will become "TalentEd by PeopleAdmin", and already serves over 5,000 educational institutions. Financial details of the deal were not announced. PeopleAdmin is led by CEO Jack Balaha, and backed by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners. It's unclear how the merger affects the status of PeopleAdmin, which was reportedly looking for a buyer last month, or if those reports confused PeopleAdmin's acquisition efforts with a sale effort. Performance Matters was owned by private equity investor Weld North Holdings LLC.
