TI Partners On Real-Time DSP Debugging Tool
Semiconductor giant Texas Instruments Inc. has partnered with EWA Blackhawk to produce a non-intrusive, real-time debugging tool for digital signal processing systems, TI reported Monday. According to company sources, the hardware-based module, known as XDS560 Trace, offers advanced capabilities for troubleshooting real-time, high-performance embedded applications. It also helps fine tune code performance and cache optimization of complex multi-channel applications. Blackhawk, a division of EWA, developed the module’s XDS560 high-speed USB emulator, while TI designed the Trace component and its high-density, 60-pin header connector. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas Instruments has manufacturing, design or sales operations in more than 25 countries.
