PHNS Acquires Network Technology Group

PHNS, a Dallax, Texas-based provider of IT and business-process solutions to the health care industry, has purchased Network Technology Group Inc., PHNS announced Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though PHNS said NTG will continue to offer its various IT services, including disaster recovery and co-location facilities. Also, NTG will remain in Baton Rouge, La., as a wholly owned subsidiary, and its 36 employees will join PHNS. Network Technology Group was founded in 1989 and serves more than 300 customers throughout the United States. PHNS is headquartered in Dallas and boasts more than 400 client hospitals.
