Rodale Picks Pluck for Online Marketing Efforts

Publishing company Rodale Inc. will use Pluck Corp.'s SiteLife social media platform to power its new integrated marketing campaigns, the companies announced Thursday. Rodale said it will use SiteLife to provide its magazine customers with online social-networking tools such as blogs, comments, reviews, profiles and photos. Rodale added it will also use Pluck to power its online marketing campaign, called www.FindYourDetour.com, for General Motor's Saturn division. Pluck Corp. is a privately held company based in Austin, Texas. Its financial backers include Reuters Media, Austin Ventures and the Mayfield Fund. Rodale Inc. has headquarters in Emmaus, Pa., and New York City.
