iTKO Appoints VP

iTKO, a developer of service-oriented architecture testing products, reported Wednesday that it has hired Howard Sewell as its senior vice president of global sales. In this role, iTKO said Sewell will lead the company's worldwide LISA sales efforts. iTKO added that Sewell, who boasts more than 10 years of sales management experience, most recently served as regional sales director at Mercury, which is now HP Software. Founded in 1999, iTKO is headquartered in Dallas. Its customers include Sun, Citigroup, Capgemini and AMD. The firm's products are used for testing SOA (service oriented architecture) products, which use the XML protocol for exchanging business information.
