Convio Introduces Software For Nonprofits

Convio Inc., a developer of software and software-as-a-service for non-profit organizations, reported Wednesday that it has released a new application that will help non-profit supporters market events. Called Personal Events, Convio said the software allows individuals to share their interest in an organization with friends, family or others in their area. Convio said that the product will help non-profits meet event logistics challenges, enhance their relationships with constituents, and empower their constituents. Based in Austin, Texas, Convio is backed by Adams Street Partners, Austin Ventures, Granite Ventures, and Silverton Partners.
