Skywire Software Buys Canadian Software Firm

Frisco, Texas-based business applications developer Skywire Software announced Wednesday that it has agreed to purchase Whitehill Technologies Inc., a provider of document and compliance automation software. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close by Aug. 31, were not revealed. Skywire said its acquisition of Whitehill will solidify the company's position within the industry and continue its global expansion. Skywire added that it will employ more than 650 people and serve some 2,500 customers in 45 countries once the deal is complete. Whitehill Technologies is headquartered in Moncton, Canada.
