Active Power Names VP Engineering

Austin, Texas-based Active Power, a manufacturer of uninterruptible power systems, said this week that it has named a new vice president. Active Power said that it has appointed Dr. Karl Schuetze as Vice President of Engineering. Schuetze has been at Active Power for seven years. Active Power said that Schuetze has also served at Advanced System Integration, Inc., McDonnell Douglas Corp., and General Dynamics. Active Power develops uniterruptible power supplies based on flywheel technology. More information »
