Apollo Endosurgery Raises $11.5M

Austin, Texas-based Apollo Endosurgery said today that it has raised $11.5M in a Series A financing. The funding came from PTV Sciences, H.I.G. Ventures, and individual investors. Apollo Endosurgery said that the funding will be used to complete product development and conduct human clinical trials for the firm's medical devices for minimally invasive surgery.
