BMC Software Buys Emprisa Networks

Houston, Texas-based BMC Software said today that it has acquired Emprisa Networks, a Fairfax, Virginia-based firm which develops compliance software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Emprisa's software is used for network configuration and security change management for networking infrastructure.
