EDS Launches Software Testing Service

Plano, Texas-based EDS said today that it has launched a new service around testing and validation. The firm's new EDS Global Testing Services will be focused on testing and validating business applications and software products. The new unit will be based on capabilities the firm gained when it acquired Bangalore, India-based relQ Software Limited. EDS purchased RelQ in June. EDS said it has 3000 professionals in its Global Testing Services group, spread across the world.
