SolarWinds Adds UK Distributor

Network management software publisher SolarWinds reported Monday that it has selected Interactive Ideas as its first distributor for the United Kingdom market. SolarWinds, which is headquartered in Austin, Texas, explained that it maintains more than 6,5000 customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with the U.K. being one of its most active territories. Founded in 1994, Interactive Ideas is a value-added software and peripheral distributor based in Enfield, England. In addition to distributing SolarWinds' entire product portfolio, Interactive Ideas will provide first-level technical and marketing support to its 850 channel partners across the U.K., SolarWinds noted. Interactive Ideas is SolarWinds' second European distributor; the company announced a similar agreement with Germany’s PSP in October 2007. SolarWinds' EMEA headquarters are located in Cork, Ireland.
