Pivot3 Signs Reseller

Spring, Texas-based Pivot3 Inc., a developer of software-based RAID controllers, revealed Tuesday that it has signed a reseller agreement with Petards Inc., a surveillance systems manufacturer. Pivot3 explained that, under the agreement, Petards will resell Pivot3's high-definition storage software as part of its video recording and management system. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Pivot3 said the agreement comes on the heels of several successful joint installations of its iSCSI SAN solution with Petards equipment. Pivot is a privately held company backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and InterWest Partners. Petards is headquartered in the United Kingdom and the United States.
