Quickfilter Grabs $4.8M
Allen, Texas-based Quickfilter Technologies, a company developing mixed signal semiconductors for the digital signal processing market, said this morning that it has raised $4.8M in a Series C round. The firm said that the funding came from private investors, and included several private equity firms, but did not disclose specific backers in this round. Quickfilter said the funding will enable the company to expand its marketing strategy. Quickfilter develops ICs for programmed finite impulse response (FIR), a technique used in digital signal processing. DSP is used for manipulating audio signals, wireless, networking, and other high speed signal processing applications. More information »
