CardioSpectra Acquired For $25M

San Antonio-based CardioSpectra, a firm which develops technology for medical imaging, has been acquired for $25M. Volcano Corporation, a provider of ultrasound and other products, said it acquired CardioSpectra in an all-cash deal. CardioSpectra was founded in 2005 from technology licensed from the University of Texas. Volcano Corporation is based in San Diego, California.
