SecureLogix Adds Symantec's Rice to Board

SecureLogix Corp., a developer of voice network management and telecommunications security software, announced Monday that it has added Symantec executive Charlie Rice to its board of directors. The appointment is effective immediately, SecureLogix said. Rice, the company noted, is currently senior director of Symantec's Corporate Development Group. As such, he evaluates and executes the security software publisher's acquisitions, investments and other strategic opportunities, SecureLogix explained. Symantec is a major investor and shareholder in SecureLogix. Prior to joining Symantec, Rice co-founded East Peak Advisors, a licensed investment-banking firm. SecureLogix is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
