ACS Gets $30M Contract With Allergan

Dallas-based business-process outsourcing firm Affiliated Computer Services Inc. announced Wednesday that it has landed a seven-year, $130 million contract to provide information technology outsourcing services for Allergan Inc., a global, multi-specialty health care company. According to ACS, it will supply Allergan with comprehensive infrastructure services, including data center operations, end-user support and network monitoring and management. Additionally, ACS said it will implement a new data backup and disaster recovery system that should perform faster and more reliably than the previous setup. Founded in 1950, Allergan is headquartered in Irvine, Calif.
