Pivot3 Generates $24M in Series C Funds

Pivot3 Inc., a manufacturer of RAID-based digital data storage systems, announced Monday that it has raised a Series C round of venture financing worth $24 million. Pivot3 credited new investor Mesirow Financial Capital Partners IX with leading the effort. Fellow new investor Silver Creek Ventures and existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and InterWest Partners also participated, Pivot3 noted.
