Intervoice Bumps Milton to President, COO

Dallas-based communications software developer Intervoice Inc. reported Monday that it has promoted Jim Milton to president and chief operating officer. Intervoice said Milton, who had served as executive vice president and COO since joining the company in early 2006, will report to Bob Ritchey, the company's chief executive officer. Intervoice described Milton as an industry veteran with 25 years of high-tech sales, marketing and general management experience. Prior to joining Intervoice, Milton was executive vice president at UGS Corp. He also worked for Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq and Hewlett-Packard, where he rose to the level of senior vice president and managing director of the Americas.
