DataInfoCom Names Austin's Hunter to Board
DataInfoCom, a publisher of decision support and optimization software for Fortune 500 businesses, reported Wednesday that it has appointed Austin, Texas, resident Dick Hunter to its board of directors. Hunter, the Ontario, Canada-based company noted, is the former vice president of global consumer services and support for personal computer manufacturer Dell Inc. Prior to that role, he was vice president of Dell Americas Operations for more than five years. Hunter has also held senior executive roles at General Electric, Texas Instruments and Ericcson. Austin is also home to fellow board member Atanu Basu, DataInfoCom's president and chief executive officer.
