Dell Taps Gladden As CFO

Round Rock-based computer manufacturer Dell said today that it has appointed Brian Gladden as the firm's CFO. Don Carty, the firm's SVP and CFO, has resigned, effective June 13th. Gladden joins the company from SABIC Innovative Plastic Holdings BV (formerly GE Plastics) where he was President and CEO. Dell said that Gladden will be responsible for the firm's accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, audit, and investor relations. According to Dell, Carty remains on the firm's board of directors.
