Tyler Tech Gets Win In Connecticut
Dallas-based Tyler Technologies, a publisher of hosted information management software applications, revealed today that it has received a five-year contract from the town of Westport, Conn., a coastal community of 26,000 residents. Tyler said it will provide the city with the company's flagship MUNIS financial management software and related professional services as part of an Application Service Provider agreement. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Since it is distributed as a software-as-a-service application, Tyler will host Westport's MUNIS software applications and data at a secure facility. The company said it will also supply ongoing support, maintenance and upgrades for software, hardware and operating systems.
