MPower Links Into SourceForge
Dallas-based MPower, a developer of open source software for nonprofit customer relationship management and fundraising, announced today that the firm has hosted its software code on the popular SourceForge.net open source software repository. Mpower said that the firm's software is now fully available on SourceForge, so that nonprofits and others can access its source code. The firm's software is available under the GPLv3 source code license. The firm also said that the software is available to commercial users under another, unspecified licensing agreement which does not require release of modifications under open source. SourceForge.net allows anyone to create an open source code project on the site.
