Tyler Tech Inks $4.7M in Fort Worth Contract
Tyler Technologies Inc., a Dallas-based publisher of information management applications for local governments, revealed today that it has signed a new contract and expanded an old one with the Fort Worth Independent School District, one of the Lone Star State’s largest public school systems. Tyler said the combined value of both agreements calculates to more than $4.7 million. Tyler explained that the new agreement covers the Fort Worth ISD's use of Tyler's Education Management System, which will be deployed alongside the complementary Student Assessment Analysis System from Tyler partner SchoolCity Inc. The revised contract, Tyler noted, was originally limited to Tyler’s MUNIS financial management application but now includes Tyler’s VersaTrans transportation management utility.
