StoredIQ Bolsters Microsoft Support

Austin-based StoredIQ, a provider of email archiving and search software, said Wednesday that the firm has added support for Microsoft's Exchange 2007 and SharePoint 2007 software. According to the firm, the company's software can now search and retrieve information across multiple versions of Exchange and Sharepoint. StoredIQ provides the ability to search for mail and calendar items, notes, tasks, and contacts; the software is used for e-discovery and reducing legal risk in stored data. Microsoft Exchange is Microsoft's enterprise email software; Microsoft SharePoint is a collaboration and project management application. StoredIQ is backed by S3 Ventures and Techxas Ventures.
