NCSoft Ships Prepaid Game Cards
Austin-based NCsoft, a publisher of online computer games, said Monday that it has teamed with a company to provide prepaid "Game Cards" through retail stores. According to NCsoft, it has partnered with InComm to distribute prepaid cards for players to play City of Heroes, Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, Exteel, and its other games at Target, Best Buy, and Rite Aid. The cards allow users to purchase access to NCsoft's online games, without requiring a credit card. Each of the cards will provide for 30 days of game play, and will range from $10 to $20 depending on the game.
