Three Texas Firms Head To DEMO

Three Texas firms are headed to the DEMOfall launch conference next week, including Austin's Microstaq, Houston-based Rudder Inc., and Dallas-based OpenACircle.com. The three will be among 72 companies launching their products at the show, which has traditionally been a big launching point of technology companies to the technology and mainstream press. The conference is competing this year with TechCrunch50, a competing conference started by blog mogul Michael Arrington. Microstaq develops MEMS chips used for environmental sensing; Rudder operates an online website to help people manage their money; and OpenACircle.com runs an online site for helping business users collaborate on projects.
