ViaWest Opens Another Dallas Data Center

ViaWest, a provider of colocation and managed hosting services, reported Monday that it has broken ground on its 16th enterprise-class data center. The Denver-based company said the new facility will be located in Dallas' InfoMart complex—ViaWest's fifth data center at that location and its sixth in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. ViaWest said it expects the new location to open in the fourth quarter. ViaWest noted that the facility will offer more than 260,000 square-feet of raised floor space and will be staffed round-the-clock.
