RadioTime Acquires RadioSherpa

Dallas-based Internet radio tuner RadioTime Inc. announced Wednesday that it has acquired RadioSherpa, a provider of real-time program guides for HD Radio stations in New York City, Boston and San Francisco. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Developed by iBiquity, HD Radio is a technology that enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast digitally in addition to their over-air analog service. RadioTime said it will incorporate RadioSherpa's programming information into its own guide, which helps listeners find radio content from thousands of stations airing local and syndicated music, talk and entertainment shows.
