Austin Ventures Funds Port Logistics Group
Austin Ventures said today that it has acquired three companies and launched a new Houston-based firm, Port Logistics Group. According to Austin Ventures, the investment was made as part of a partnership with transportation logistics executive Robert Stull, who will lead the new firm. Financial details of the acquisitions and investment were not disclosed. According to Austin Ventures, Port Logistics Group will have revenues of approximately $100M at launch, and will provide warehousing, distribution and transportation services in U.S. port cities.
