RF Code Rolls Wireless Monitoring Product

Austin- and Dallas-based RF Code, which develops RFID monitoring products, said this morning that it has rolled out a new wireless environmental monitoring solution. The firm said the new product is targeted at monitoring IT areas such as data centers and offices. According to RF Code, its new R155 active RFID sensor provides real-time information about temperature and humidity. The firm said it is looking to replace expensive and hard-to-reconfigure wired environmental monitoring systems in data centers, using RFID tags and fixed and mobile RFID readers from the company. RF Code is venture-backed by Hunt Holdings, Intel Capital, and QuestMark Partners.
