Quantapoint Names President, CEO

Quantapoint Inc., a developer of laser-scanning technology and related software, reported Monday that it hired John Wilson as president and chief executive officer. The Houston-based company said Wilson succeeds Eric Hoffman as CEO. Hoffman, Quantapoint noted, founded the company and had a hand in Wilson’s selection. Prior to joining Quantapoint, Wilson held several senior-level management positions in the oil-and-gas service industry, including stints as executive vice president of Landmark Graphics, president and CEO of Trade-Ranger Inc., and, most recently, president and CEO of Terra Global Ltd.
