Rackspace Bumps Sayegh to GM of Mosso Unit

IT outsourcing firm Rackspace Hosting reported Monday that it has promoted Emil Sayegh to general manager of its cloud-computing business unit, Mosso. The San Antonio-based company said Sayegh previously was vice president of its product group, where he supervised development, marketing and management of new products and services. Rackspace described Sayegh as a 15-year veteran of the IT industry who most recently served as services marketing and development director for powerhouse computer manufacturer Dell Inc. A holder of nine electronics and telecommunications patents, Sayegh has also held management roles with RLX Technologies, Compaq Computers and W.L. Gore and Associates.
