N-trig Gets $24M

Austin- and Israeli-based N-trig, a developer of capacitive-sensing and pen input devices for the PC market, said this morning that it has raised $24M in a funding raising round from Aurum Ventures, Challenger Ltd., Canaan Partners, Evergreen Venture Partners, and Microsoft. According to the firm, it will use the funding to continue work with OEMs on incorporating its multi-touch devices. The firm's devices are currently used by Dell and HP, and said it has a number of new OEM design wins it will announce this year. N-trig is based in headquartered in Kfar Saba, Israel, and also has Austin and Taipei, Taiwan. More information »
