Bazaarvoice Hires Finance Chief

Bazaarvoice, a publisher of hosted product ratings and review applications that support e-commerce transactions, reported Monday that it has hired Ken Saunders as chief financial officer. The Austin, Texas-based firm said Saunders possesses more than a quarter-century of senior financial executive experience. Most recently, Bazaarvoice noted, Saunders was CFO for Open Solutions. Before that, Bazaarvoice added, he enjoyed stints as CFO at Peregrine Systems, HNC Software and Fair Isaac Corp. At Bazaarvoice, the company said, Saunders will direct all aspects of its financial operations while also supervising the information technology and human resources teams. Bazaarvoice develops software used by ecommerce retailers to power the product ratings, reviews, and social networking features on their sites.
