NetQOS Gets Win At Savvis

Austin-based NetQOS, a developer of network performance management software, disclosed this morning that the firm's products have been selected by Savvis for a new service to be offered by the network services firm. According to NetQOS, its products will be "the foundation" of a new service focused on monitoring the network traffic of Savvis customers. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. NetQOS products will be sold as part of the Savvis Application Transport Service (ATS) Performance Analyst services. NetQOS said the products being used by Savvis will be NetQOS ReportAnalyzer--used to monitor network traffic composition and bandwidth--and NetQOS NetVoyant--software used to monitor network performance, such as latency, jitter, and loss.
