GlobeRanger Raises $8.3M

Richardson-based GlobeRanger, a developer of RFID products, said this morning that it has raised $8.3M in a Series C funding round. According to GlobeRanger, the funding came from new investors, along with prior investors Sevin Rosen Funds and CenterPoint Ventures. names of the new investors were not disclosed. According to GlobeRanger, the funding will go towards accelerate its product and business development activities. The firm said that round included a conversion of bridge loans from investors into equity. More information »
