ProspX Names Chairman

ProspX, a publisher of hosted collaboration and automation software for the commercial insurance industry, reported today that it has appointed Dennis Chookaszian chairman of its board of directors. The Austin, Texas-based company said Chookaszian previously spent 27 years with Chicago-based CNA, ultimately rising to chairman and chief executive officer in 1992. He also served as chairman of the CNA subsidiary Agency Management Services Inc., ProspX said. Prior to CNA, ProspX continued, Chookaszian worked for Touche Ross & Co. Management Consulting Services, which later became part of Deloitte & Touche. He currently chairs the Financial Accounting Advisory Council, which provides guidance to the Financial Accounting Standards Board on accounting matters, ProspX added.
