ACS Gets Three-Year Extension Worth $6M

Dallas-based business process outsourcing firm Affiliated Computer Services revealed Thursday that it has received a contract extension from the AmeriHealth Mercy Family of Companies worth $6 million over three years. According to ACS, AmeriHealth has been a customer since 2000, with ACS supplying the health care provider with various document maintenance services, including sorting and preparation, imaging and on-line and off-line data capture. ACS said it handles more than 5 million documents each year on behalf of AmeriHealth, which targets low-income populations covered by publicly funded programs.
