DoubleHorn Teams with AboveNet for New Offering

Austin-based DoubleHorn Communications revealed Thursday that it has partnered with AboveNet Inc., a provider of fiber optic-based connectivity services. According to DoubleHorn, the partnership was made in support of its new IP Media platform, a fully managed, end-to-end solution that delivers Internet protocol-based voice, data and video traffic services. Headquartered in White Plains, N.Y., AboveNet specializes in gigabit Ethernet, business continuity storage services and transparent local- and wide-area networking. DoubleHorn provides managed communications services to small businesses throughout the Lone Star State and maintains offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
